[Pro] Responsive video action - backdraft

Hi, I am using backdrafts responsive video wrapper mOdule, which contains the responsive video action. the video feed in well from You tube, but I cannot control the size of the window and the various attributes that come with the You Tube iFrame code. ie. adverts after movie stops, looping etc>

Is there a way around this?

Many thanks

Hi Matt,
The current Responsive Video Action is somewhat limited in features and was intended to be a simple way to add hosted videos to a responsive layout in Freeway. I developed a Pro version of the Action back in 2015 which I had intended to sell but it sat on my hard drive until Softpress announced they were shutting up shop at which point I shelved plans for it.

Depending on interest I may bring it back and document it as it offers all of the features I think you are looking for plus a lot more.

You can see a screen shot of the Action interface here;

and the purchase page for it here;
https://pay.paddle.com/checkout/514324

Currently the Action offers all of the features of the standard Action plus;

  • Set the video to autoplay when the page loads
  • Set the video to loop
  • Set the video to play on secure (https) pages
  • Allow users to view the video at full screen
  • Turn on and off the suggested video closing screen
  • Show or hide the player controls
  • Show or hide the video title
  • Enable ’privacy enhanced mode’ so YouTube won’t place cookies and track your views
  • The ability to specify the start and end times of the video
  • Replace the video with a standard image thumbnail for smaller screen sizes. Clicking on the thumbnail allows users to view the video on the YouTube web site.

I hope this helps.
Regards,
Tim.
