Guys help!
I can’t figure out how to make a one image reveal by mouseover on another image.
The problem is that one image is far from another and rollover is nor really working in that case.
Thanks
You need to use a combination of the Target Show/Hide Layer and Rollover Actions. You can then roll over the item with the rollover Action applied and trigger a target with the Target Show/Hide Layer Action applied.
Apply the Rollover Action to the trigger. In the Parameters section set the Mouse Over option to 1
Apply the Target Show/Hide Layer Action to the target (make sure it’s a layer) and set the Target number option to 1
Preview in the browser to see it working.

Thanks terrific advice. But what if I need a rollover and reveal image at the same time. Let me explain I have a menu item let’s say portfolio with some rollover effect and I also need to reveal image somewhere on the page as mouse over , a double action so to say. Rollover on mouse over and reveal image at the same time. How to that , then?
It’s quite easy. THe image to be revealed has the Target Show/Hide Layer Action applied and in the Action window you then select Initially: Hidden and choose the Target #: 1, say.
In the Action window for your Rollover, click on the Parameters tab and choose MouseOver #: 1
For additional pairs, just choose another number for the Target #: & MouseOver #:
When you place your Mouse over the Rollover image (in Preview or a browser) the Target image will appear. Play with the settings for Restore: ( Yes, No, Sticky) to get the effect you want. That is, whether the image disappears when you move the mouse away - stays in view - or disappears when you mouseover another rollover.

You can have both a rollover effect on the trigger element as well as
the show/hide on the target element.
