Hi, i’m Nicolet and I’ve justed learned how to use the (java scripted) rollover action. There’s just one thing I still can’t figure out after reading the manual, relevant forum topics and viewing numerous tutorials.
I use the rollover action in my navigation bar and I want visitors to my site to know on which page they are by means of a different button color.
Is this at all possible in Freeway Pro 5 or should I just think of another way to emphasize the active page?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi Nicolet,
The rollover Action can’t automatically disable or style itself depending on the page it is on. You could do this with a chunk of extra code but not with the Action itself. I would suggest using the CSS Menus Action which does offer this feature.

You can find a few sample CSS Menus over on the Freeway Style site ready to download, play with and integrate into your sites;

Regards,
Tim.

Hi Tim,
Thanks, this clears things up a lot.
I will give the css menus a try. The Freeway Style site is a big help. Didn’t know it existed!
all the best,
Nicolet
