Calling DeltaDave, Learned Master!! … or anyone else.
I’m trying to organise a simple layer rollover with a button icon - my first attempt at this in Freeway.
The site is
http://paulscottinfo.ipage.com/historic-port-fairy/6.staginn.html
The rollover button is invisible(!) bottom left, to the right of the stickpin. Rolling over this is supposed to reveal the show/hide text layer. I’ve spent half a day trying all possible combinations, and feel it is time to ask for help! What settings should I use please?
Thanks, Paul

Thanks David. Nearly there! The only remaining problem is that my rollover icon is hidden all the time.
I have to say that I don’t find this aspect of Freeway at all intuitive!

Your page is constructed with the CSS button off - ie a Table Layout - the image that is in there appears to be a clear gif even though its alt text says it is the history icon.
I would be selecting these images and make them layered items and bring them to the front. But apart from that it is not easy to see from the Html where it is going wrong.

On an unrelated note I see that some of your file names have unsafe characters in them like 1.lecturehall.html
Stick to alphanumerics (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) _undescores and -hyphens. Dont use any punctuation marks or any other weird stuff as these can trip up browsers/servers.

Problem solved David. In desperation I decided to replace the rollover icon, and in the process discovered that the Target Hide/Show setting had been accidentally set for it!
Many thanks again for your help! Paul
