[Pro] Rollover on-top of Graphic (CSS Layer)

Okay, I got my rollovers working…IF I create them directly on the background.

However, I am unable to get the same rollover working when I try to put it on top of my banner graphic (graphic window, CSS Layer).

When I move the working rollover on top of the banner the text color changes, and the roll over stops working. It’s almost as if I need to send the graphic to the back but I can’t get that to work.

I have played around with things but I am just to green to figure out what I need to do.

Thanks for all of your quick help…I have been working on this all day. I just want to finish designing my Master Page!!!

Have you grouped the layer elements you wish to have cooperate in a Rollover?

Yes, I have grouped all of the items together.

Actually, I have tried it both ways and neither work…

To be clear, are you grouping the two states (normal and over) of the rollover together, then applying the Rollover Action to the group? If you add other elements to the group, that can be confusing in the Action interface.

Yes, I am grouping the 3 graphic boxes together: Normal Box, Rollover Box and Box with text.

The rollover works, if I create it on my background. However, if I create the rollover on the top banner OR if I try to move my working rollover on top of the banner it stops working.

This sounds like a combining graphics issue ie the banner is combining with the rollover.

Is the Banner a seperate layer?

David,
Thanks for your response.

No, the banner isn’t being combined with the roll over.

Somehow, I got my original question to work, but now I am having difficulty with another role over and the same problem!!!

I can create the role over, however when when I move it over a graphic item it doesn’t work. In this case the graphic item is an empty box with white background.

Can someone help me in what I am doing wrong?

Are all three graphic boxes?
