[Pro] Rollover Text

Hello,

I’ve been trying to have a rollover text item as follows:
(A) text changes colour on rollover
(B) on mouse down/click an external link takes place.

I tired an ordinary hyperlink but could not turn off the ‘underline’ by clicking on the ‘U’ in the text inspector.
I’ve tried also an Action item with ‘rollover text’ but the underline still appears.

Is there any way I can have a piece of text change colour and hyperlink without an underline appearing?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I’ve just spent a lot of time trying to figure it out and couldn’t locate it in the manual - maybe I missed something?

Regards,
Will

Rather than selecting the text and changing the underline option in the text inspector, select the html box that contains your text, click on the item appearance tab in the html inspector, on the bottom of that tab there is a “links” selection, open that and you should see options for normal, hover, visited, and active, to the right of each of those there is a button to turn on or off the underline feature.

The other way would be to create graphic text links and apply a rollover action to them.

Many thanks Rich for both the prompt response and the advice. It worked perfectly. Much appreciated.
