[Pro] RSS action`

Folks… I’ve been using the RSS action for a while and although it does the job, I can’t set the posting order. I’ld like to see the most recent addition appear at the top of the list instead of at the bottom.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks
Gary

Not without reordering them manually. Safari will display in date
order automatically but most other things’ll display in the order it
has been set at.

That’s a pity. RSS is one of the most useful features for publicizing. Not being able to select display order limits it’s use. But I guess I’ll have to live with it for now.

I take back my previous comment, most good RSS Feed readers will add
new content to the top of the list, it’s just basic readers (like
those in browsers) that will display them in the order they appear in
in the XML.

I’ll get something logged about improving the Action though.

Thanks… many people rely on browser based readers, particularly people who are not that familiar with the RSS process. Or in the case of some workplaces, independent RSS readers are not allowed due to security restrictions.

Transparency in features is always the best of goals.
