Uploaded yesterday afternoon. Made some minor text changes to the file, then went to publish and got “Could not complete your request because of a program error. (-26100:251:1349)”
The file appears to save okay, but does not publish.
Making and reopening an archive does not help. Restarting the machine does not.
Here is the weird one: getting a Time Machine backup of the premodified file produces the same behavior. Help! Please.
Problem resolved. Thought I would report what the problem was.
— for some reason, FWP was getting repeatedly confused about resources. I do not know why, but suspect it may have to do with some graphics being pasted instead of being imported from a known location.
— the impenetrable error dialog means that FWP has encountered an image file with an unknown extension. In my case, there were none to be found with a bad extension, but re-importing made the error go away.
— As always, SoftPress was speedy and patient with me.
