[Pro] Safari Search Action

Hi, hopefully a simple fix for this one…

I need to adjust the width of the search area box on my web page and can’t put my finger on where to adjust it. By default it is quite small in width and i’d just like to increase it by about 30%. I tried dragging the box and making that wider but when I publish it seems to revert to the smaller version.

thanks in advance

Do you mean the Text Field area that the user types in to search?

There are two ways to control this.

1, if you are using FW 5.5 then you can use the Relative Page Layout action on your page. With this action applied to the page any element like the Text Field you are using will render exactly as you see it.

  1. You can also use the Form Element Styler action (ActionsForge - The Complete Repository of Freeway Actions). Select your Text field and apply this action - in here you can choose width, border, colour, font, padding etc.
