[Pro] Scripty Lightbox won't play smooth on Safari

I’m just mystified as to why I get great results on Firefox but Safari is jerky and intermittently loads the video or not at all!

My bkgrd. animated gif loads the frames individually and it looks horrid.

Basically your background is jerky because the file is too large and takes too long to load.

Thanks for the info but why does it run really nicely on FF? The vids are really inconsistent on Safari but just fine on FF. Maybe I should just forget that animated gif, I thought it would be a nice, subtle FX, it’s optimized in Imageready, but I don’t have that much web experience…just learning. Everything is possible to the novice, lol!

Probably more important that you have a look at the site in various flavours of Exploder

The background animated gif could probably be made smaller (file size) and more frames would help to make it smoother but whether you could get it down enough to make it look good across all browsers I don’t know.
