[Pro] ScriptyFader problem

Hi, just trying to use Scriptyfader for the first time and running into problems. The initial image shows, but the 3 other slides don’t.

The Scriptyfader action is applied to a graphic box, this has then been duplicated 3 times and different pics imported, Scriptyfader option applied to these and ‘carsspread12’ selected as the target. The main settings for this test are:

auto-fade - 1
Show spinner - unchecked
faded thumbnail opacity - 0.4

Thanks again in advance for any pointers.

Righty ho then, I don’t know why, but I redid the Scriptyfader again but placed the initial graphic box within a html holding box and it sort of works.

I should have 4 images rotating in and out, but only 3 are showing - and 2 of them are actually appearing below the html box and then jumping into position.

I’m stumped!

I would try this again without the inline construction, or with a modified inline construction. Try the following in your current layout:

  1. Insert an HTML box inline where you want the effect to appear. It should be large enough to completely contain your graphic fading images. While it is selected (handles showing)…
  2. Use the Graphic Box tool to draw another box over the top of the HTML box. As you do so, notice that the edges of the HTML box glow blue, indicating that it is the parent of the object you are drawing.
  3. Select the Graphic Box and apply the ScriptyFader Action to it.
  4. Make the rest of your SF Panes on the pasteboard somewhere.

See if that works for you. The issue is that the fader is getting confused about where to insert the clone object in an inline setting.

That worked fine thanks Walter. At first it was just showing 2 of the 4 slides, then I noticed that a couple of the slides on the pasteboard were touching each other, so I separated them and voila!

Worked fine.

Thanks again.
