[Pro] Scroller stopped working on FW5.6.2???

I have updated to FW Pro5.6.2.
One of my clients asked to have some changes and updates made on her site (made originally on 5.4.2) and now I can’t make the scrolls move.
The link to the published site is - http://luckystarrecording.com/Biography.html
Making the changes in 5.6.2 will not allow me to use the scroller.
Any ideas as to why is not working in 5.6.2 and what I can do about it ???

Thanks for any suggestions

Dan

Thanks . That is the old site and it is working. I have to make major changes in content and design ( in 5.6.2) and in doing so the scroll is not working. The site that is up now was done on 5.4.2 and I have to keep it up until I manage to make it work on 5.6.2.

The site that is up now was done on 5.4.2

And of course doesn’t work on an iOS device anyway.

I managed to resole my problems by replacing the “Scroll” on some pages with the “Carousel”.
http://luckystarrecording.com/index.html
I made the same change in the “bio” and strangely enough after I loaded the new work, the Scroll on that page did not change and it started working. I might have to load it manually
so I can have the “Carousels” on all pages for uniformity.

David I know that the site was done with 5.4.2, I mentioned above. The scroll is still not working on 5.6.2 and I do not know why.
Any suggestions?
PS I did not get the “And of course doesn’t work on an iOS device anyway”???
I noticed that every time I use the updated version of FW, unless I do changes in the original version of FW, I have to redesign the site in the new version…

I mean that iOS devices do not support scroll bars like this - so your extra content is invisible to anyone on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Thanks David. It’s never to late to learn something new.
Is a Carousel showing on the iOS devices?? And if not how you suggest that I resolve my problem of having more text than the length of the page? Increase the size of it vertically and let the device or browser add its own scroll bar?? I have to try it.
If the Carousels work, I will try to make the site available to iOS devices. In fact I have to check my own site to see where I stand in this respect. I kind of neglected it lately.

Thanks again.

Have a Healthy and Happy New Year!

One more thing.
Why the site looks so different on Firefox than on Safari, the Firefox being the better one, as Safari distorts the whole content of the pages???

Yes Carousel works fine on iOS.

Nothing wrong with having a tall page either.

as Safari distorts the whole content of the pages???

If you are talking about overlapping text etc. then that is to do with your page construction and how different browsers can render text at different sizes.

Use Safari to look at your site. In Safari’s View Menu set it to ‘Zoom Text Only’. Now use Cmd+ and Cmd- to resize your text up and down and see what happens to your layout.

Try the RPL action to sort it - but only if all items on your page are layered.

Thanks again. I’ll try to do that tomorrow. Been in the studio for 14 hours. Will try a fresh approach in the morning.
