[Pro] show/hide layer - confused

OK - it’s late so I’m missing something easy. I’m relatively new to FW but know the basics. I use rollovers all the time. But…

I created a rollover button with two graphics. A “more” graphic and a “close” graphic

What I want:

The rollover button that when clicked triggers an html box to appear.

That part works fine. Click “more” (default state of rollover) and voila, html box appears.

However:

  1. when “more” is clicked, my rollover button doesn’t change to show the “close” rollover graphic.

  2. the target layer (with show/hide layer action applied) doesn’t want to go away.

I’ve tried using mouseovers and clicks to trigger the rollover action but same non-result.

What settings am I messing up in either the rollover action or the target action???

PLease advise, thanks.

If you follow the instructions in this QT movie:
http://www.softpress.com/movies/moment_14_ZQ.m4v

…the ‘Close’ button is replaced by the ‘More’ button when the cursor is rolled over it. If a text box has the ShowHide Layer action attached, the text also appears and disappears when the mouse is rolled over the Close button.

This template has working rollovers:
