Hi, I have this working a treat. But my client has asked me to have the first target already showing when the page loads. I switched the setting to visible in the action but what should the setting be for Sticky/Toggle etc as it doesn’t hide when another target is triggered.

Instead of no text appearing in the right hand side, I want the ‘about us’ text to load and be visible as the page loads but to disappear when one of the other two menus are clicked on. Can someone show me the settings.

This is done using a trick. Whatever you want to have visible when the
page loads should be a separate layer, sent to back, that does not
have show/hide layer applied to it. This may be a duplicate of your
about us content. The show/hide layers should have opaque backgrounds,
and should be large enough to cover the default layer. Then everything
can be set up the same – initially hidden, show when the trigger
element is clicked or moused over, restore sticky. This gets you
default and show/hide without any head-scratching.

A little trickery will help here. Duplicate the About Us panel and remove the Target Show/Hide Action (this will be visible when the page loads). Now apply the Transition FX Action to each of the Rollovers and set them to Fade the new About Us panel on click, making sure the duration is the same as the duration of the fade applied to the Target Show/Hide Layer Actions. This will fade the About Us panel out and replace it with the the panel the Rollover is set to trigger, because the fade durations are all the same there will be no noticeable flash when the About Us Rollover is clicked and the duplicate About Us panel is already showing.
