Further to my enquiry about running 5.6.5 and 6.1 together, how about ‘ShowCase’?

Running FW 5.6.5 at the moment and using ShowCase 1.1.5.
Does v6.1 use a different version of Showcase and is it backwards compatible?

Showcase (like all of the other “core” Actions) is built into Freeway’s application bundle. You get a new version of that Action each time you upgrade the application. The tricky part here would be the separate Showcase application, which builds the lightbox bundle used by the Showcase Action. You should take care to keep both versions of Showcase.app when you upgrade, and pay attention to which one you use to create the bundle for each version of Freeway. The Action is tightly bound to the application, as far as I know, and there may be breaking changes between the two versions, as new features were added in the version that shipped with 6, and these would surely confuse the Action that shipped with 5.6.
