My one and only very basic Inline constructed web site on 5.5 seemed to work OK, but when i tried to convert it to FW6 i had a number of issues, initially associated with Carousel 2, which i am still working on. However another issue surfaced that has to do with the size of the page, if you go to the link, the home page is fine then navigate to the Private catering page and here is the issue, the main text is not displayed, (unused Carousel Panes to the right) Within FW5.5 this page content “Over -ran” the page height, but within 5.5 this did not seem to make any difference and it displayed OK in the browsers.
Upon investigation within FW6 the pages in question have their height set to 1000px as they do in FW5.5. i then “toggled” the height icon under measurements and the height is now reset to the height necessary to encompass the whole of the page content, which seems to cure the problem. IS this the correct operation under FW6? why did it work under 5.5
All my pages are not using any content or settings from the Master pages. When setting up the site i was advised nto to use master pages for Inline…
This is an issue new to 6 that we plan to address in the near future. As you rightly noted, it’s possible to work around the issue by making the height of the containing item tall enough for the content.
