Do you really think that anyone is going to want to wait around to see them all?
There is only enough content on the page for a 25s visit.

I’m inclined to agree with David here. Once the background is cached, it does speed things up a little but most people will not stick around to view all the images and it is slowing up the page.

I’ve just had a look at the page and the background slideshow started within 3 seconds, so no problem with me. A mobile may be a different matter though.

the page is not intended for the kids to see all the images when they get there. The point of 21 is that they are random so as they visit the HW page they never know what they will see. The transition speed is faster now so just so I can see them but in the future will be slowed down so the students will see like 2 or 3 diff ones each time they are there.
Since it loads instant for me now, it must be because it is cached. I guess I will reduce the # of pics down so others are not affected.
