I am new to the mac environment… and to the freeway application.
I did see the JS Scroll bar tutorial, but isnt there a way to add a simple scrollbar to a text box, so that when the text exceeds the visible area… the user can just scroll??
If not, I’ll follow the tutorial… but thought I would ask first.
If you select the box you want to be able to scroll, make sure it is a
Layer (checkbox in the Inspector) then set the Overflow picker in the
Inspector to either Auto or Scroll, you will get a browser-drawn
scrollbar on the box, either only when the content exceeds the height
of the box (auto) or always (in most browsers).
This scrollbar will behave according to the norms of the operating
system and browser in use – it will look “native”, in other words.
