I am redesigning this—very outdated—page: http://joenathan4art.com/
My client would really like to keep the site counter he has on his old site. He doesn’t care about the looks of the counter itself, but ideally he won’t have to loose the current count 100,000+.
Now, before someone jumps on me for having an outdated counter visible on my page… Please understand, my client is 82 years old and rather than explain to him current design theory and how limiting his counter is (it counts every time you refresh the page), I would much rather give my client what he wants. It will make him happy and I see no reason not to meet him where he is.
With that disclaimer out of the way, is it possible to put a site counter up with the my new FW page and not loose his old stats? If so, how and what action would you recommend?
