I am trying to add the sitemapper action to my site. I follow the steps of “What’s New in Freeway 5.5 PDF”. I clicked the site folder, go to Page - Folder Action - Site Mapper, however, after that, I went to WIndow - Actions -site mapper window, my window shows “Cannot use this Action. Apply the site mapper file location action to a page in the site”.
I am trying to do this for the whole folder but it seems the system asks me to do that by page. Anyone knows which part I missed or I cannot do this as a folder action?
I found the chat history and discover there is something missing in the PDF instruction that I need to give the home page “site mapple file location”. After that, the action window shows.
Now, my new problem is when I submit the sitemap, it takes very long for Yahoo in the submitting process. I notice it maybe Firefox issue in the history chat and switch to Safari. But the problem is the same. Does anyone have the same issue in Yahoo part?
I have successful submitted my sitemap but when I logged into Google webmaster, it still says there is no sitemap. Does anyone have this problem? or I still need to submit another Google sitemap to google webmaster?
Submitting the sitemap isn’t immediate. When you submit, you tell Google (and other providers) you have a sitemap and they access it the next time they index your site.
Using your Google Webmasters account is the quickest way to submit one.
