Hello guys,

Does anyone know how to create a fading slide show exactly like the one on the softpress website. Any directions, suggestions greatly appreciated.

Use a combination of 2 actions

1 Sequence Timer (Page Action)

2 Target show/hide layer or image (Item action)

Stack layered images on top of each other with them all having the Target show/hide action applied with the same Target group but different Target #

Parameters Hidden, sticky, fade - duration 1-3

Sequence Timer parameters - set a speed, loop, on page load, target group same as for other action and choose Yes for each target # you used for action 2

hi David,

Thanks for responding again. I did what you suggested, however, I’m not sure how to go about the little buttons that highlight when images change.

What I need is that the user has control over the images- click the little buttons to change image as well as the fading slide show. Is this possible with freeway or do I need additional software?

If possible, could you please provide a step by step instructions to create the buttons?

cheers

Sorry I hadn’t actually noticed them - let me have a look and see what method they used.

OK - quick example here using graphic items with the rollover action applied to trigger the Target show/hide layers. So while the sequence timer does its thing the ‘buttons’ will also change the images.

SP use some JS and fancy CSS to achieve the active state and with this method I haven’t added that.

Hi David,

is there another way to work this out. I do need the active state to show when images change.

Is there a software capable of doing this without having to hand coding myself-I’m not web developer?
Is there a code somewhere I could use?

any suggestions or someone who will provide a solution greatly appreciated.

thanks for your example.

OK Carlos - revisit my example

No hand coding - all standard FW actions
