[Pro] Slideshow Options - Showcase Fade

Hi

I’m struggling to find a simple slideshow that does the simple things I require of it. Maybe I’m just missing the obvious.

Showcase is superb. But - it appears impossible to alter the transitions to something smoother? Anyone found a way. I’ve had a search on here and it didn’t look like it.

Here’s where I’m at. I want/need a slideshow that is in the page. Not a pop up window. I want it to auto play. But also want the user to have control if they wish. If I could display the play buttons permanently, but outside to the right of the frame, would be good. Its almost perfect at the moment, but that transition is harsh. Would be lovely to be able to fade it. I’ve played with Show/Hide layers before. But from memory, I’ve not seen a way of using the keyboard to control these - i.e. flick through images, plus have a pause etc. I’m not a coder.

If Fade isn’t possible - then Softpress - Please add it in a future version. There’s got to be a demand for it out there.

Target show/hide with sequence timer can have play/pause button too.

I was looking at that page earlier. I considered it, but I don’ think brides will always be clever enough to work out that it pauses on hover. Which means you have to include text to tell them what to do. I think that spoils the clean look unfortunately.

How do you get it to have play pause buttons. Does each button need to be on a separate layer etc.?

The pause on hover is a custom addition.

For a play/pause button you can use any graphic you like - http://www.deltadesign.co/fw_examples/resetsequencetim.html - this page goes one step further and has a reset feature.
