[Pro] Slideshow Pro and CSS menus on a PC

On the current web site I’m working on, I’ve successfully uploaded many albums on many pages through Slideshow Pro and Director that display perfectly on a Mac. When I view the galleries in browsers on a PC, the CSS menu for some reason is displayed behind the Slideshow Pro images on each page. The menu lists are long and that means many of the pages become inaccessible. Sending the menu to the front in Freeway seems to have no effect on changing this on a PC. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

If the output from SSP is Flash files then there is always a problem on the web in that content that utilises Plug In architecture rises to the top (punches through other content) - there is no 100% reliable way to avoid this in all occasions and all browsers.

There are various things that you can do to help.

1 Manually set a z-index for your CSS menu to a high number like 99 (determines stacking order)

2 Set W Mode to transparent for the Flash Files

3 Change your page layout.

How do you manually set a z-index for my CSS menu?
