I am not certain if this might be a bug but it is inexplicable! I have built an entire, quite large site and used "spawn a new window all through the site, it works great, I used it with text and images. Wonderful, I really like it.
But then I added a new window with a list of links, just a simple list. I highlight the text (I’ve tried both html & graphic text) >insert action>spawn a new window>fill in “your text”, spec all the options (I’m linking to an external url). Everything is cool except a few links stubbornly keep loading in the same window (the one with the listing). I have 16 text items and I’ve check all the specs and they are identical, I rebuilt the list and I have the same problem but with different links. I don’t know where to look for the problem…can anyone help?
Everywhere else the “spawn a new window” works fine. I have another list elsewhere on the site and I did it the exact same way and it works great.

I’m still working with it on my local drive, it’s so strange, I rebuilt the entire list and re-speced everything and double checked all the specs, they are identical. The page with the list launches from two different internal pages and the error is different on each of the incidents. Out of 12 links one seems to not read the “spawn a new page” none of the scrollbar, etc. specs take either. Too weird.
Can I send you my .freeway file? I don’t want to put it up with an error. Also the freeway talk pingthing doesn’t seem to work for me even though I check it each time, is that on my end?

I fixed it!!! all by myself. I have no idea how these errors occurred but I found the item number in the site pane was different from the “internal javascript item” in the “spawn a new window” action dialog were different!! How that happened, I have no idea, as I rebuilt the list and links three times and I had just taken the item number ascribed by freeway as I built it. Oh, the gods are good today! I hope this helps some other poor non-html person like myself.
