[Pro] Spawn New Window (strange) Action problem

Hi,

Can anyone imagine why the Spawn new window action would not work on 1 specific graphic on a page when the action works on other graphics on the page and even the URL on the graphic works as spawn elsewhere?

The graphic is graphic text and I what I noticed is when you mouse over the graphic, in the bottom corner of browser it says GO TO instead of OPEN… in new window.
I tried redoing it several times.

This is only for this one graphic text and I did not want to have to redo…

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Barry

make that 2 graphic texts.

The one I mentioned and now one above it, but a graphic text in the same font a little to the right has no problem opening the link as a spawned new window.

hmm

I figure dit out and hope this help others…

I learned you cannot HYPERLINK the graphic and ALSO choose the hyperlink in the spawn window action settings.

You must keep hyperlink off and only use the setting in the action.

Linked graphic text almost always creates a tortured image map (wrapped around the characters of text) rather than the outer box itself. It’s possible that this is confusing the Action. Try removing that link entirely, then click on the box containing the text and apply your link there. See if that makes any difference.

Stay on target… Open a new thread for a different subject. Think of the poor search engines…
