[Pro] spawn to window pt 2

Good morning to all.

Here is a strange question or idea…

If you look at my page:

http://www.grassrootsweb.net/tlc

when you enter you will see my accordian scripty menu on the right.
under about us i have mission and philosophy

I would like these just to be pop up windows ( like on the staff page

  • i like the click on better for these ) so that they can see the
mission or philosophy quickly wo opening up a whole new page / window)

is this possible?

also - please refresh my memory - how can I have a word click to an
open mini window with a pix… but does it only work when using a
graphic box instead of html? Thats what i descoverd w the staff that
it needed to be a graphic box for the spawn to window.

also is anyone having trouble w the tree appearing?

Thank you!!!

You can use the text form of Spawn New Window to do this. Click into your HTML box where you want the link to appear so you see the flashing text cursor. Then from the main menu, choose Insert / Action Item / Spawn New Window. You will see a little 12px tall box inline within the text. In the Actions palette, enter the text you want to appear as the link, and configure all the other preferences just the same as the image form of SNW. If your link text is already there, simply delete it in Freeway. That’s all you need to do.

Or insert a text rollover linked to a Target show/hide layer

See http://www.deltadzine.net/test/tlchomepage.html

David,

is there any way of doing this as a click instead of mouseover? so it
is more controlled by the user?

Yes - you can trigger from a rollover on a graphic. You can also add a picture into it

Have a look at your accordion though coz it is way screwy with duplicated stuff in there http://www.grassrootsweb.net/tlc/tlchomepage.html

Julie - did you look at the page I sent you.

It deals with your centering issue because when you resize your current page the text moves over the T, L and C and is very difficult to read.

I guess you must be viewing on a 1024 wide monitor which looks fine but viewed on a larger screen its not pretty.

Thats another reason why I suggested putting the T, L and C as foreground graphics (They wont get covered by text)

Dave,

sorry for the long delay… The ram on my “new” pb was bad and had to
replace it as well as the HDD. OI!

Here we go up and running smoothly and ready to get this website up
and running.

Thats another reason why I suggested putting the T, L and C as
foreground graphics (They wont get covered by text)

The tlc is actually part of the main background pix on the master page
w the tree. so w the tree its “fixed” I did this because of wanting
all on each page.

The issue during creation also is that the program keeps switching the
screen size… please see my screen shot below… on the home page

If anyone else wants to see the screen shots with the odd sizing just
email and request…

the web addy is:
