Do you mean administer it remotely? If so, the Sequel Pro is the one to look at.

Hi, Thanks for fast reply, Its my first time to do a website with data, so my knowledge is not so great.
The MySQL will be hosted online, together with the domain hosting, but I gather I need something to work between my freeway site and the MySQL, What I am trying to create is something similar to the link below:

So are you trying to integrate a shopping cart or just a parts viewer.

If a cart then a lot of carts have these image options built in.

It will be a parts viewer, so customer can see microfiche type drawing, then order the parts and pay online.
For some of our sites we use big commerce.com, and the company that work with us thought they could build this in which would have been great, as we would have the shop, payment portal, newsletter, SEO, Shipping, accounting etc, but they do not think they can do, so I was looking at trying to do myself, and using mals-ecommerce, and quickbooks accounting as add ins, to create a system, which was less labour intensive

I would be looking at a cart that puts it all together - it is a very steep learning curve to put that together yourself.

And if you have no MySql/PHP experience forget it - far too big a job for a first timer.

You may be right about that, do you mean build a e-commerce site, with all the items in the site, not on a data base, I did think that of that, as it was the best “keep it simple” way, it was just that I know that a large number if dealers want a system like this.

Most carts use a database to store the info.

Have you tried Mals E-commerce http://www.mals-e.com/

Very easy and Freeway actions set available for it.
