[Pro] Strange Carousel Problem

I have placed a Carousel at the top of a Master Page which is common to all my pages (along with other navigation content etc.)
If I use this Master for a new page and enter content etc. It publishes OK but if I go back and edit the pages or add content, etc., the Image holder (the one with the Carousel Action attached) drops its content but the other panes show OK.

If I strip off all the Master Page elements from the page and re-apply the master it publishes OK.

As you can imagine this is very time consuming.

Anyone got any ideas?

There are major issues with Actions that handle files (like Carousel
does) and Master Pages. I am not sure if this is precisely what you
are seeing there, but it might be one explanation. If the library
didn’t get attached correctly to the head of your page, then the
effect would not run, but the layout changes would be done (since they
happen in the Action itself). This could lead to a messed up page such
as you describe. If you can post a link to the page showing the broken
behavior and another page where it works, I could make a more accurate
diagnosis.
