[Pro] Styles Not Holding

I am desperately trying to finish a website and Styles has just gone crazy.

When I apply a style to text it changes the font/size/etc to the current settings for that style, but most of the time it doesn’t keep it. When I modify the style, nothing is updated, so I have to go back and manually do everything all over again.

Sometimes I get lucky and the Style sticks… I can tell because when I reselect the text, the Style is highligted in the palette. However, after edits elewhere in the document, they eventually get lost too and I’m back to square one everywhere. I’ve archived everything and published everything numerous times and neither is fixing it. Is there anyway to FORCE a style?

If you click on the Cog in the Styles palette you get the option to Edit Styles.

There you can select your newly created style and make it Permanent by checking the box. Makes sense to name your frequently used ones too.

My styles are all named and permanent. They just don’t ‘stick’ to the text they are applied to.

Everytime I make a change in a style, I have to go back and select ALL my text that uses it and reapply the style to each one.

Have you gotten in touch with Softpress support? This sounds like a Freeway bug for sure.
