[Pro] Submitting site map using Site Mapper

Wondering why Yahoo takes so long or hangs completely, every time site map is submitted using site mapper.
Ask, Bing, and Google status checks green right away, but Yahoo takes forever.

Try a different browser as your default…

…go into Safari and choose Firefox as defaul (if you’re using Safari) or vice versa. Then it should work.

I’ve got the same problem as Roxane. Tried what you suggested with Firefox and Google Chrome but still, all I get is the spinning pole.

Does it work for you??

Hmm you’re right - it used to be a bug that was fixed once swapping the default browser - now both just spin.

Any more on this?

In Safari, Firefox and Chrome submitting only completes with Bing and Google and in Opera it completes Ask but still left with the spinning progress bar for Yahoo.

Using Freeway 5.6.4 with Lion 10.7.4

Yahoo has been out of the search engine business for around a year. They get all of their search results from Bing these days, so it’s useless to submit anything to them. I’m not sure what the status is of the Action, but it’s my opinion that the Yahoo section should be deleted or commented out.
