[Pro] Target Groups

Ok. I’ve read as much as I can about Target Groups and still don’t seem to get them so maybe I need to explain my situation. I have several graphic items I would like to have onClick properties where it will then change what is displayed on another HTML Item. See below.

1 → show A, hide B & C
2 → show B, hide A & C
3 → show C, hide C & D

Is there any way to do this through actions or do I need to paint a white background on top of these layers?

I know how to do this in HTML/Javascript, but I’m a little confused as to how to do it in FW. I’m a trial customer and really like the approach FW is taking to design, but I need this very basic functionality and I’m hoping I’m just missing some concept.

Thanks

Hi Derik I think what you are describing is show/hide layer, where rollover targets another html item and it either shows or hides it. Simon Aughton created a gallery using that method and you can read and see his tutorial from here

Thanks, Max. I should state that I’m on FW5 the Slave function is not available on my version.

In Freeway 5, all references to ‘Slave’ were politically-corrected to
read ‘Target’. Those of us who used previous versions (this language
originated in 1998 or so) still use the old word to mean the same
thing from time to time.
