[Pro] Target show/hide layer action

I am editing an old client site in FW Pro 5 to add extra pictures into a slideshow I created using Target show/hide layer action. The old slideshow is still online and works fine.

I duplicated the last image 12 to keep its settings when I added new image 13, and changed the target number in the pallette. But when I preview the site, the new image isn’t showing.

What have I missed?

Hello,

But did you increase the count in the Sequence timer Action ie Set the Trigger to 13 to Yes.

Thanks John,

On the old site with just 12 images, the Sequence timer action had trigger 1 set to ‘yes’ and all the others set to ‘no’ and it worked OK.

I’ve just tried it with triggers 1 to 13 set to ‘yes’, and with only triggers 1 and 13 set to ‘yes’, but image 13 still won’t show.

Is there anything else I should try?

Not sure if i can be of further help sorry …

Here are a couple of screenshots that show the settings I use in one of my sites using FW5 - this one has 6 images

And if you share a link to the page online that doesn’t work we can look at the code.

I switched off my laptop last night and on again this morning, and guess what - it now works OK! Maybe it was a cache problem.

Thanks for all your help.

Still using FW5 Pro 5.4.2

You should at least update to 5.4.3 - there were some bug fixes with that version.
