[Pro] Target Show/Hide Layer z-index problem

The proiblem exists on the following site page:

http://www.igsg.co.uk/rollingbannertest.html

The first two rolling images drop under the menu bar, the third and fourth rolling images don’t. This is despite being below the menu bar in the stacking order of things as far as the construction goes.

Even more strange, is that I managed to get a similar rolling image set going on the home page without problems:

http://www.igsg.co.uk/

Each successive image that shows up on the problem page, seems to appear higher up the z-index order than the previous image, so by the third one they appear above the menu. This is probably one of those ‘too involved so can’t see it’ problems, but I’ve tried rebuilding from scratch, setting the menu box to have a z-index of 1000 and have hit a brick wall. Anyone know where the door is?!

This ended up being the problem:

On the first rolling image set on the home page, the images are non-inline children of an overall layer. This layer was then pasted on another layer and positioned absolutely in relation to it.

On the problem page, the parent layer to the rolling images had been pasted inline, rather then positioned absolutely. Small difference in structure, big difference in outcome.
