[Pro] Target Show/Hide Layer

I just upgraded to pro and I am continuing this question in a new thread.

I have been able to successfully use the Target Show/Hide Layer action (please see attached example), but one issue remains. I have a number of layered windows which adhere to a menu on the top left. I have set and want “OVERVIEW” to be initially visible, but when I click down the menu it remains visible. I’ve set restore on “OVERVIEW” to all for options, (yes, no, etc.) but the window remains.

Is there a way to have an HTML Layer initially visible and then disappear when another target layer is triggered?

The Action you could use for this (in Pro) is called Target Show/Hide Layer. But Express won’t make layered HTML boxes, only table cells, so you can’t use this in Express. Consider upgrading — this is just a tiny morsel of the extra goodness you will get.

This seems like a really simple issue to resolve. How do I make a rollover item (a “button” I’ve created) activate, show/hide various paragraphs of text stacked somewhere else on the the same page? I’ve been able to accomplish this easily with graphic items as they allow you to select up to twenty target images, and there you go. My ideal would be to have a button trigger an HTML item, yet HTML items do not allow me to add “Target Show/Hide” as an action.

Thank you for your help.

p.s. So that I’m not asking later, how do I make a rollover item change in appearance only after another rollover had been clicked? (To give the appearance a button has been “clicked”)

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m trying to do.
