[Pro] Testimonials like this?

I need to create a Testimonial Page where the site owner can upload snippets of text testimonials. (Thinking of using YebYep - which I am comfortable with)

These need to be in bubbles to look something like this:

The particular site is static but I saw this bubble quote which is responsive and would be of future use too.

Anyone any thoughts?

Thanks

Trev

Does your client use a Mac?

I could see a potential solution combining Tumult Hype (An inexpensive Mac only program where you can combine image and text and create stretchy output, and which is simple enough that a client could be taught to delete old and create new variants of the file you set up) combined with breakpoints in Freeway and a Freeway compatible CMS.

Hi Trev,
I’ve done a number of these in the past and as long as you are happy adding in a few custom CSS styles you should be able to do it quite easily. Here are three that all pretty much follow the same principal;

The last one is a little more complex but you can download the Freeway file and take a dig around in the Edit > styles dialog box.
Regards,
Tim.

A dash of CSS and a couple of custom graphic files;

Here’s the Freeway 7 file;

As with most things there are several ways I can think of to make these quote panels. Some rely on creating a structure of html boxes to hold the elements whereas this example simply uses two text blocks; the quote and the person quoted.
Regards,
Tim.
