Hi there.
I was triggered by an earlier post by John to use “Silktide Nibbler” as a small test on a few of my websites. And was surprised by the very low score of coding (1-2.2). Coding is handled mostly by Freeway itself and should be, in basic, WDC3 compliant. I would have aspect a minimal score of 5 at least and that my added codes would provide an higher outcome.
Anyone experienced these odd results also with Silktide Nibbler or similar tests? Should I worry deeply about the results? All works well and visitors plenty
Some of these services can and do provide useful insight into potential problem areas but depending on the particular parameter being addressed it’s real-world importance to a given site can vary greatly. It’s more of a suggestion (sometimes a strong one) than an absolute must-do.
That being said, I find GTMetrix http://gtmetrix.com provides far more practical suggestions than the free Nibbler. But that’s me.
