[Pro] This site

I saw a thread a few weeks back on how to make a site like this…any ideas?

I think of it this way…

Try to assemble a working auto engine from scattered parts without knowing
how engines work - except for the evidence of them working (foot on pedal,
car goes).

Okay, then learning some basic mechanics helps move things along - until
you have to troubleshoot the process (and you will).

So, some engineering skills on top of mechanical experience and… wait - why
were we using Freeway again?

I admire how ambitious FW users can be in the ways they want to use the
software. But. The truest observation I’ve ever read on these forums was
repeated recently… essentially, that to make anything beyond basic design
with FWP requires that users expand their knowledge and experience in ways
the product was meant to circumvent.

If everyone including Softpress would embrace that truth, people would be
asking how they could make sites like ours.

Make no mistake - a site like this can be made using Freeway Pro - but at
that level, FWP is not an essential part of the equation. Crescent wrench
or Power tool still both depend on the mind that wields them.
