[Pro] Transition FX Error message

I’m trying the transition FX for the first time. When I preview and/or publish I get the error message: ACTION CANNOT BE USED. The following Actions have been incorrectly applied and will be ignored.
Action: “Transition FX”, Page: “WHERE DID THE HORNY TOAD GO?”.
It seems to be working in Safari after publishing. Am I missing something?

Thanks, David

What sort of element did you apply the Action to, and what element did you ask it to transform? Can you please try a blank page, with nothing on it besides two boxes:

  1. A graphic box, with TransitionFX Applied to it, acting as the button.
  2. An HTML box, with a background color and (optional) inline content, selected in the TransitionFX Action’s Item picker.

If you set the other properties as I described, and view the page in a browser, you should see your graphic box alone on the page. When you hover over the graphic box, you should see the finger cursor, indicating that it is a link. When you click, the HTML box should slide into view. When you click again, it should slide back up and disappear.

Hi Walter,

I applied it to the title “Where did the Hornytoad go” and to the main text
box. I’ve set it up with a delayed fade in.

Everything looks correct using Safari on my mac & my iPhone . Could it be
that it won’t work properly on other systems?

I’ll try your suggestion.
