I am working with Freeway 4 pro. What I am trying to do is show a photo with a transparent color band across the middle with my name in it. I can do it on the page, but it does not show when previewed.
I have tried different settings, ie making the block a gif or jpeg - set transparency settings at different levels, etc. But, although it looks great when I’m constructing the graphic - the previews show it as opaque.
Any suggestions?

If I'm understanding what you're trying to do, you might try the
Watermark action. It might accomplish what you want. I think you
get it by going: Item–>Actions–>Watermark.

Try drawing a new graphic block ‘inside’ the graphic box that holds
the picture, so it is nested inside it. (Start and end drawing the
block within the picture, and then resize it to fit.) Give it a fill
and an opacity setting - it should be merged with the photo on export.
Does this work?
