[Pro] Trying to verify ownership with Google using web master tools

I am supposed to enter a code generated by Google-Instructions:
Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site’s home page. It should go in the section, before the first section.
Been trying just about everything and is not working, Google can’t verify.
Any Idea as the code can’t be inserted manualy.

head’ section;

I can see the code in your page Dan. It’s just outside of the head
section and needs to be inside it.
Make sure that the Insert menu in the Page/HTML Markup dialog is set
to ‘after head’ or ‘before /head’ (end head) and submit the site again
to Google.
