Thanks for helping me understand how all this is working together and impacting load times. I’ve made a few changes to other pages based on what I’m learning.
I did try cutting down the dimensions of the background image, but I had trouble with the bits repeating in a way that looked random. To get it to look right, I had to create a pretty big sliver that was actually larger than my original. I’ll keep messing with it as I have more time.
