[Pro] Turning spinning wheel in Freeway Pro

Hello,
At first I want to say, I’m from Holland, so maybe I’m writing something wrong in english. It’s a little difficult for me to ask my question in english.
I’m creating a webshop in Freeway Pro 5.5.2.
I have 4 masterpages. When I go to the masterpages, I see the turning coloured spinning wheel for 5 or more minutes. Then I have to stop Freeway forced. I created a new user, same problem. I have an Imac 2.8 Intel Core duo with 4 gig memories and Snow Leopard.
Is there anyone with the same problem, or what am I doing wrong?
I even tried it on my Macbook Pro, the same problem.

Hi Henny

This sounds like some sort of problem/corruption with your resources.

Try Edit>Resources and then down at the bottom Resample All.

Once you have done that create a new ‘Site folder’ and try publishing into it. File>Document Setup and under the Document Tab half way down you can Select a new Site Folder (or create a new one).

Hi David,

Thanks for the answer. I followed your instructions, but it didn’t help.
At the moment I’m a little desperate.

Is it one particular Master hat does it?

If so try selecting that Master in the site pane and Page>Delete

Then do a Save As and save the file somewhere else on your HD.

Work on the new file for the next step and try your Masters again - if this works then you only have one Master to rebuild. And this can be done from a child page with the Make Master option.

You may have a font problem/corruption but I think this is more likely to show when FW launches but if you have any font checking software it might be worth firing it up.

David,
I thougt it was one master. I deleted it ( took more than one hour ).
Started up the new file, and there it is again the turning spinning wheel.
I don’t have any font checking software.

Hi Henny,

If you are using Freeway 5.5.2 and have a few CSS Menus on your Master pages then you may want to revert back to 5.5.1. You can do so from here:

Hi Joe,

I went back to 5.5.1 ( I have a few CSS menus on the masterpages). No turning spinning wheel anymore. I think/hope the problem is solved. Thanks everybody for the answers.
