I have a question to be answered? I got freeway 5 Pro v5.4.2
from a friend a while ago for a gift and i want to reformat my macbook pro and upgrade to 5.5, Do i need to backup 5.4.2 and also, i do not longer communicate with my friend. I do not know the information that he used to purchase it. Do i have to pay for a new freeway 5 pro program.

The upgrade to Freeway 5.5 is a paid-for upgrade, I’m afraid.
Visit the Freeway store page
http://www.softpress.com/store/
and look at the options open to you. When you click the “Upgrade” button, you’ll be asked to enter the serial number of your copy of Freeway.
It is well worth the upgrade cost, I have to say.
