A happy new year to all.
First hurdle of the year is that I am trying to upload a site which has had very little changed.
Freeway loads the files fine until it comes to one where I get and error message which reads:
“Cannot complete upload because a file could not be uploaded to the server. [550 FW_Object.js: Permission denied]
[-26375:625:1214)”
I can’t assess what particular file is causing the problem. I have watched the uploading sequence to see if I can observe what page the upload stops at but it all goes too fast for me to see other than the alphabetical order of the html pages.
There are 899 files as part of this rather big website which I am currently revising but due to this upload then I cannot slim it down to where I want it to be.
Any thoughts at all?

There is an Error log that is created every time you upload (if you have the checkbox ticked in the Upload dialogue box) - examining that should help.
If not then send the Log file to SP towers and they will help.

Hello David,
Good to hear from you.
Where is the log file generated saved?
Cheers for now

Thanks for that. I found it and it really was interesting to read through. It didn’t clarify things much though as it didn’t detail which file had the issue.
I then did something I really should do more often and went to the knowledgebase on the softpress support site. Read a bit about the uploading issues that can occur.
I ended up just moving all the freeway files into a folder on the server and then uploading a fresh version of the website.
Now I can pick my way through the old files and see if I notice anything which may have caused the problem.
Things are working well now. Just wish I could understand what the issue was.
Note for the New Year: Read the knowledgebase more!
Thanks for your input David.
