I have asked this question before a few months back and received a reply which solved the issue but i cannot find it anywhere…
I have a site I am working on where the CSS drop down menus hide behind the target show hide photo show below.
Bring to front and bring forward does not work.
I solved this in version 6 from a reply a couple of months back but since I have just upgraded to version 7 and it has reverted back to being ‘behind’ the whole time.
I need to send a proof to a client in the next few hours please help!
Cheers

Can you post a link to an example page showing the problem?

Here is the one on v6 which works

And here is the same version on v7 where the drop downs disappear under the images

Hi,
in this case, select #header1 and via item->extended add position (name):relative(value) in the DIV-Style tab dialogue.

It currently states -
name : z-index and value: 99
So what do I need to change ?
Thanks

leave z-index as it is and add as a new name/value pair position:relative as figured out above.

Excuse mine - but you haven’t (at least I can’t see that you did).
So select the item header1
Choose item → extended, there the DIV-Style tab and add as new name/value pair position (name), relative (value).
UPLOAD this so I can see it.

If you would do what I told you, it’ll work.
You did:
Overlay: 100 (who told you this - me?)
I said:
leave:
z-index (name) 99 (value) (as it was)
and add
position (name) relative (value) as a new pair!!!
If you can’t do those two simple things, let me know. I’ll take the next flight to you and do it by myself.

There is a nice Chinese saying:
If you’re in a hurry - wander off
You can still fly over and I will buy you a Pint of the best British Beer i can find
I’d love it - for sure.
