Hi everyone,
I am using the Carousel action on a website I am creating and want to use a slideshow for one of the panes of the carousel.
I have tried it using the MooTools slideshow but they won’t work together, does anyone know how I can use both a slideshow effect and carousel together?

This lightbox pop up slideshow is something but unless I’m wrong - I think they were asking if a slideshow could be (auto)playing inside one of the panes? (no click, just arrow over and it starts up in the newly loaded pane)

Karen you are right, I am looking to for one of the panes itself to be a slideshow and I think I have achieved it by using the Target Show/Hide Layer Action.
I’m not in the studio today, but once I have something up and running I’ll drop a link in to show you what I have done.

Dear Delta Dave,
How do you make this gallery in a carousel? The one with the thumbnails you can click on. I have zero understanding of code so I need a step by step description :-). I am also wondering whether there is a way to have html based subtitles to your carousel pictures or do you have to integrate text into your jpgs?

So is that Target Show/Hide in conjunction with Sequence Timer?
Be v careful about your file sizes though - your background.png image is 1.32Mb - make it much smaller and tile it to reduce this. Jpeg too?
Also you could leave simplicity, style etc as one image and just crop the others - hertford, fresh, easel etc - that would save you another 0.5Mb easy.

That’s right, Target Show/Hide with the sequence timer.
Thanks for the other tips as well, I have made the changes and re-uploaded … and also added a flurry as I’ll probably launch it on the 1st December.

Sure that is better but you still have your images
Why not break these up into separate images - this will reduce your file sizes quite a bit.

You probably don’t notice so much because all the images are cached but it loads soooooo much faster now.
