[Pro] Using Sequence Timer with multiple groups

I want to use the sequence timer with 4 separate groups of images on one page. I have a grid of four picture/graphic boxes on my page and would like, if possible, to have images appear in each of the four boxes on page open and then have each image fade to another image (about 4-5 images in each stack).

Can this be done? I’ve tried using the show/hide layer target with each image and then the page sequence timer action. It doesn’t really work. If I try to make the first 4 images show, once one of the groups starts its fade, the other groups disappear. I also tried to tag the groups with different target groups (indigo, rose, etc.) but that doesn’t work at all (maybe I’m doing it wrong)

Ideally I would the fading of images in the four boxes to occur randomly, but I could live with all four fading to others at the same time. Am I asking too much of Freeway, or just not doing this right.

Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Jeff

Can you post a link to what you have so far so that we can see your idea.

I don’t have my site up yet, so not sure how I would provide the link. I’ve been trying to test in on a blank page first. (I could do a screen capture perhaps if there is a way to upload an image to the forum).

But what I want are four square graphic boxes – two side by side with about a 1/4 inch between the two and another two right below those two (similarly spaced). Each box would have rounded corners with a 2 px frame – almost like looking at a window divided into four panes. However, each box would be a different image. The page has a bit of copy to be read so the idea was to have the 4 images fade in and out to different images (randomly if possible).

Does that explanation help at all?

I put the page in question up in a subfolder. You can access it at the link below. The page just has the layout of the way I want the images. I would like each of the 4 images you see to be able to fade to others in a sequence or randomly (5 different images each).

I think I’m looking to do the same/similar thing as was originally asked here. I have 2 stacks of graphic items (with images) on the page that I would like to individually run as slideshows (automatic, looping). This has been easy enough to do with one stack/set of images and a combination of the Sequence Timer page action and the Target Show/Hide Layer action on the images. Is it possible to accomplish this with 2 sets of images, using these actions?

Thanks!
