[Pro] UTF-8 text encode problem

I’m getting some garbled responses on a form I have on one of my sites.

To make sure it’s not just a bogus entry, I’ve changed the TEXT ENCODING from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8 (unicode) in the DOC setup for the site.

However, when the site is published (everything) and uploaded, the source info still reads: meta http-equiv=Content-Type content=“text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1”> (yes, I refreshed the browser)

Why isn’t the charset changing to read UTF-8?

Try changing it on the Master Page(s), and if that doesn’t do it, on each page separately. This setting is in the Output tab of the page inspector (click on the pasteboard so nothing is selected first).

The setting you changed governs any new pages you make after you change it, not the existing pages.
