[Pro] Validation markup errors

Hi,

I’m trying to validate the markup for a site using W3C and it keeps returning invalid. I’ve got several errors that are 'end tag for 'map" which is not finished, and two others that I think are referring to end tags as well. It seems to preview fine it all the browsers that I checked. How would I fix an end tag?

The first look like there is just a missing / before the > end tag - should be />

Did you use Page>HTML Markup to add that?

Not quite sure why FW is not closing the map tags properly - these are on your navigation links. How did you add these links?

I create the navigation buttons at the top the way that I have done previously: created two graphic, selected group, and then applied the rollover action to the topmost graphic. Then I selected a page link for both of them.

It’s never given me an error before.

Regarding the first error, I have a “>” at the end of the line for the Google fonts:

Does it want me to change it to />?

BTW - what version of FW are you using?

You might also try changing that page from XHTML Transitional to HTML Transitional

I’m using the latest version of Freeway Pro 5.6.4. I’ve also tried switching from XHTML to HTML, and there was no difference :frowning:
