I experience all of a sudden a very big problem. When I change a graphic item in my website freeway file and try to publish it using option+command+B than I get the following error message in a popup window and publishing stops.
Could not read Graphic because file format is bad.
(-26009:283:525)
If I change tekst in a HTML item all is ok but if I only change ONCE a graphic item the above mentioned occured and I can not reverse it anymore and have to use an old backup (not the automatic generated backup freeway generates but I manually make a backup once in a while of the complete project directory of my site).
Can please anyone help me with the error message and how to solve it. maybe I changed a setting by accident in one of the setup menues ???
have you tried to import another picture instead? if the error occurs again, you might re-install freeway.
i think i’ve seen that error once while importing a corrupted graphic file and published it. after creating a complete new graphic everything works.
but i’m not very sure whether this can help, maybe there are better tips out here…

Hi Walter, Thomas and freewaytraining.nl, Thanks for all your input. It was indeed just one bad graphic file which caused the problem. It took some time to figure out which one it was but once replaced with a new one everything worked again. I am happy again with freeway ust wonder why this file became bad all off a sudden but next time when I get this error message I know how to solve it thanks to you all.
